LB46 Doors with aluminum frames with thermal break

Sliding doors for thermal and acoustic insulation

The doors with LB46 thermal break profile They offer superior thermal insulation compared to standard assembly aluminum frames and contribute to the sustainability of a building.

It is a system made with extruded aluminum profiles to design and the thermal break is obtained by inserting 22 mm polyamide strips reinforced with glass fibre. It can be equipped with standard glass windows or insulating glass certified EN 1279, or equipped with commercial paneling.

Application example of the LB46 profile
  • Exceptional Thermal Performance: The LB46 system's thermal break technology minimizes heat transfer, reducing energy losses and contributing to a more comfortable indoor environment.
  • Elegant and Modern Design: Enhance your architectural project with the clean lines and contemporary aesthetic of the LB46 system.
Get a sleek, sturdy sliding door, then customize it with a range of finishes and automations designed to perfectly suit your needs.
  • Versatile Configurations: Choose from single or double sliding doors, with the option to add fixed side panels for more natural light and a wider view.
  • Flexible Installation: The LB46 thermal break system can be installed on the existing lintel or an integrated self-supporting profile can be used.
  • Sliding doors prepared for Automation: Easily integrate automation systems LABEL Eterna 150 ed Eterna 200 to transform the manual sliding door into an automatic door.
  • Security: The LB46 system is designed to meet the stringent safety requirements of EN 16005 and is certified by a Notified Body according to EN16361.
  • Suitable as an Emergency Exit: Combine the LB46 system with the redundant automation system Revolus 150 to create safe and reliable escape routes, compliant with current regulations

Why is it important to choose a certified and tested product?

The permeability air, the estate to water, the load resistance of the wind e to the impact These are aspects to consider when choosing new windows and doors and when you want requalify a building in energy terms.

To measure the resistance of these elements, one must refer to regulatory specifications and we resort to finalized tests just to evaluate the performance of the fixtures.

The profiles LABEL comply with the following regulations: RPN 337534

Surface finishes for aluminium profiles

  • Anodic Oxidation Treatment in accordance with the QUALANOD EURAS/ EWAA quality mark guidelines.
The treatments are carried out in full compliance with the EN ISO 7599 Standard “Anodizing of aluminum and its two alloys. General specifications for the anodic oxide layer”, performed on profiles pre-treated superficially by micro-shot peening or chemical satin finishing.
The oxide thickness is 15 microns with hot dip fixing.

  • Thermosetting Powder Coating Treatment in accordance with the QUALICOAT quality mark guidelines.
The treatments are carried out in full compliance with the EN 12206-1 Standard “Coatings of aluminium and aluminium alloys for architectural applications
    – Part 1: Coatings prepared from thermosetting powder materials”.
The powders used are based on TGIC-free polyester resins in Class 1; the minimum thickness of a coating layer is 60 microns measured in accordance with the ISO 2360 standard.
